Laboratoř archeobotaniky a paleoekologie (LAPE) je specializované univerzitní pracoviště, ustavené v září 2002 na Přírodovědecké fakultě Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích jako součást katedry botaniky. Od roku 2014 je LAPE samostatnou organizační jednotkou fakulty, spojenou s katedrou botaniky pedagogicky.

Hlavním smyslem a náplní činnosti členů LAPE je základní výzkum v oblasti bioarcheologie a paleoekologie. Do těchto oblastí patří především archeobotanika, archeozoologie, ale i řada dalších specializací, zkoumajících interakci člověka a přírody v minulosti. V prostředí laboratoře vznikají bakalářské, magisterské a doktorské práce především v oboru botanika, zoologie a environmentální archeologie. V posledně jmenovaném oboru laboratoř úzce spolupracuje s Archeologickým ústavem Filozofické fakulty Jihočeské univerzity. Činnost LAPE zahrnuje výzkum jak na území České republiky, tak na řadě míst v zahraničí. LAPE také poskytuje řadu služeb archeologickým a jiným pracovištím. Vedle konzultací, týkajících se užití přírodovědných metod v archeologii, jsou to především analýzy v řadě bioarcheologických specializací. LAPE se podílí na vydávání mezinárodního časopisu Interdisciplinaria Archaeologica, Natural Sciences in Archaeology (IANSA).

Laura Sadori

Laura Sadori was born in Rome on 5 June 1960. She works as Ricercatore Confermato di Botanica Sistematica (BIO/02) at Dipartimento di Biologia Ambientale, Università “La Sapienza”, Roma. She took a degree in Scienze Naturali (110/110 cum laude) at university of Rome “La Sapienza”, a Master in Botanica (matricula honor) at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain). She is European Doctor in Biology (PhD in Botany, excelente cum laude). The degree was taken at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain).

She published more than 220 articles, book chapters, and congress abstracts. In July 2012, 31 articles are recorded in ISI web of science (H index 14, citations 834), 34 in Scopus (H index 15, citations 895).

  • Italian Councillor at the International Federation of Palynological Societies (IFPS) in the period 2000 – 2008.
  • Member of the Advisory Board of European Pollen Database (EPD) in the years 2004-2008.
  • Coordinator of Gruppo di interesse scientifico e tecnico operativo per la Palinologia della Società Botanica Italiana in the period 2005-2011.
  • Coordinator of Gruppo di interesse scientifico e tecnico operativo per la Paleobotanica della Società Botanica Italiana since 2012.

  • She is a member of the teaching board of Dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze Applicate per la Protezione dell’Ambiente e dei Beni Culturali.
  • Laura Sadori takes part in the Erasmus program in the frame of Teaching Mobility (TM) with the universities of Sheffield (United Kingdom), Barcelona (Spain), and of South Boemia (Czech Republic).
  • She was tutor of two PhD students (XX ciclo in Scienze Botaniche, XXIV ciclo in Scienze Applicate per la Protezione dell’Ambiente e dei Beni Culturali) and she is at present tutor of one PhD student (XXVII ciclo in Scienze Applicate per la Protezione dell’Ambiente e dei Beni Culturali).
